Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 August 2026

9Store India ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It is designed to align with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (and rules made under it) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Data we collect

  • Identity and contact data: your name and email address, provided at checkout or through our contact form, so we can deliver your product and support you.
  • Transaction data: order ID, product purchased, amount, payment status and timestamp returned to us by our payment gateway.
  • Payment data: collected and processed directly by Razorpay. 9Store does not collect or store your card number, CVV, expiry date, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials at any point.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type and basic analytics about pages visited, used to keep the site secure and improve it.

2. How we use your data

  • To process your order and deliver the purchased digital product.
  • To send transactional emails such as receipts, download links and replacements.
  • To respond to support, refund or privacy requests.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
  • To send occasional product updates, only where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of the consent you provide when you place an order or contact us, and where processing is necessary to perform our contract with you or to comply with law.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share the minimum necessary data with:

  • Razorpay — for payment processing. Your payment information is handled under Razorpay's own privacy policy and security standards.
  • Email and hosting providers — strictly to deliver your files and operate the site.
  • Government or law enforcement — only where we are legally required to disclose.

5. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies: essential cookies that keep the site and checkout working, and basic analytics cookies that tell us which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though essential cookies are required for checkout to function.

6. Data retention

We retain order and contact records only as long as needed to provide support, honour replacements, and satisfy legal and tax requirements. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Data security

The site is served over HTTPS, payments run through a PCI-DSS compliant gateway, and access to order data is restricted to authorised personnel. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

8. Your rights

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your data, or withdrawal of consent for non-essential processing. Write to us and we will act on verified requests within a reasonable period.

9. Children

Our products are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Contact

For any privacy question, request or grievance, email official.9shop@gmail.com. We respond within 24 hours on business days.
